Personalize your typing experience with beautiful themes

Most sites have 2 themes: light and dark. We have an infinite amount.

From the very start we wanted TypeQuicker to be as personalized as possible. Not just with the typing experience but with the way it looks.

Like most sites, we initially started with two themes; light and dark but we thought, why stop there. Sites like Monkeytype have a lot of themes - we wanted to top that.

This theme apples to the whole website - that means that all the stat screens, the typing interface and even the images and blog posts covers; all behave consistently across themes.

To start, users can choose from a set of prefedined themes. There are about 50 in total. These are common themes like. Gruvbox, Nord, Monokai, Dracula, and more. These types of themes are popular amongst developers.

Then we added Tokyonight and all it's version, my favourite Catppuccin theme and it's variations.

While scrolling through Reddit one day, on subreddits like r/battlestations, r/MechanicalKeyboards and r/Keyboards, I noticed something.

People strive for color consistency acorss their workspaces - their keyboards, their wallpaper on their monitor and their RGBs lights all follow a color scheme. Many developers even hack their tools to match their theme; their terminals and text editors.

So I thought - what if TypeQuicker could also match this theme. This would offer users a way to completely personalize their experience. They would visit our site and feel right at home - the website comlpetely matching their keyboard, wallpaper, etc.

This is why we give our users the ability to create their own themes from an image. It's simple - you can click to create a custom theme from image, upload a photo of your workspace, keyboard, wallpaper, etc. TypeQuicker will analyze your image, extract the key colors, and generate a theme based on the image. This way - your typing experience will perfectly match your preferences.

Now - certain themes might appear a bit darker and some might appear too bright. Having this much variation - it's difficult to offer perfect contrast for every theme but we try our best!
